I feel sorry for the poor fellow. A simple artist, he has worked hard all his life trying to get ahead and the capitalist bastards take his house.
Now where is he going to park his Camaro? If that was me, I'd get pissed off enough to start a war.
" Rule books are for the Guidance of the Wise, and the Obedience of Fools"
That article is crap. No, it's not serious, and anyone offended should get over it. It's a well known internet meme that I guess the Herald has just discovered, or that barrister that was quoted and the people who apparently complained to him don't realise the context of.
Do these people not understand what the word "parody" means? Where have they been if they have not seen these Downfall memes?
I don't see the big deal about it and they should just leave Mike alone... It's not like he dressed in a Hitler or SS uniform like a certain English prince...
Did this video get leaked by the GCSB? Is the Government using this to distract the sheep from the spying issue?

So not one of the journalists, nor the editor, noticed that a version of the video has been on youtube since 2008?

Ive seen at least four. theres quite a good motorbike one.
It would have have been Harcourts or Barf oot ant tompson seeking to gain commercial advantage, betcha. No need for John key jihad Obama C4 durka durka GCSB Al Quaeda to get involved (there you go lads, that'll give you a few hits on your keywords. Get the NSA to forward it if you dont understand)
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
Looking at a couple of Anne Gibson's other articles, it looks like Harcourts guy gets to be quoted quite a bit. Probably giving her one.
Keep on chooglin'
