I was thinking XR again, cos I really liked my 88 650, but not long ago I had a ride on a dr650 up to mavora and back. Now Im hooked, and I dont like the styling of the new XR,s. But there is to much talk of roofs and paint and giboard and all sorts of other stuff that is more important ,blah blah. Women are just to friggin sensible some times.

it'd sure save on trailering the crf to woodhill lol...best of both worlds my girlfriend is 5'3 tall
and i lowered my dr for her and we went out and did about a 200k ride, she loved it and thought it was
easy as to ride...despite tip toeing...and her regular bike was a gn lol

im with you on xr's..i love them, had an xr650r until 6months ago...the dr is a good compromise as it makes a very good road bike
and gravel weapon..bit heavy on the tough trails but do-able
gotta say im salivating over a 91 xr600 on trademe atm...$2500 for what i think is oneday gunna be a real classic
    ...air cooled, kickstart rfvc yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
