Can't wait to check it out!!! I just hope the winds aren't as bad as the last time I rode through there. Whos the local chap that rides the GPZ600? he's usually headed over the hill every sunday. I was following him through there last time and he was hummin even though he was leaning a good 25-30 degrees most of the way.

Perhaps it's a chance for the 250 guys and girls to have a legal go at hitting top speed. Could end the debate over which is the quicker of the 250 2/4 strokes. Any other 250 owners game ?. BTW RGV 250's anit slow !.

If you go over to "have a practice", be warned that the Wairarapa roads are currently being policed specifically for speeding motorcyclists.......

No ones come close to cracking 300kph but thats probably 330kph on a Suzuki speedo.

    Winja or Sensei ?

Looks like the R1 and CBR really are faster than the Gixxers. Or maybe the riders just have more balls.

Better put PT in here just incase someone actually takes me seriously.

Bolox Gary. (And you know it ya cheeky prick)
Tony Sampson has recorded the fastest ever average speed at this track. 296kph on a da da-da-dah!!!!! K3 Gixxer thou. The following year he entered on his 04R1 and went substantially slower.

This year, he has a LOVELY new K5 Thousand to crack the 300 barier. You're all dead.

    Great stuff.

I'm quite keen to get down to this event. If it wasn't for Kiwibiker I'd probably never even know stuff like this existed or find out about it after it had happend.

    Cheers LB for this thread

Didn't he remove the number plate /mirrors etc... off the suz to get those last few KM's.
Also , I think last year most people where starting runs from the Actual start rather than a few hundred meters up the road .

Runs from the start line are only real ones eh .....
