Also , I think last year most people where starting runs from the Actual start rather than a few hundred meters up the road .

Runs from the start line are only real ones eh .....
He was leaving from the startline. He'd also inflated the tyres to about 50psi. The bike was wheel spinning through 1st and 2nd, while turning the slight bend the start line's located on. Awesome stuff, the boys got balls.

He'd go faster if he ditched the cordura for some leathers. I didn't want to tell him as I was hoping to beat him.

The start line was getting further and further back as the day progressed.

The key, IMHO, is to give it snot right from the start line and right the way through until after you past the finish line. Make sure your knees and elbows are tucked in tight and ya chin's on the tank.

I can't wait, lets hope the weather's good.

    Winja or Sensei ?

Looks like the R1 and CBR really are faster than the Gixxers. Or maybe the riders just have more balls.

Better put PT in here just incase someone actually takes me seriously.

I was impressed as well , but the runs I saw started further back from the start line , the black marks on the road went for about 150 meters on medium chip.Better him than me. You'll remember last year the start was closer to the straight. Would be great to start it at the dam / lake control ,worth the extra kms over the flying .

I understood Tony tried a couple of times starting way past the barrage gates but found it didn't make any difference??

This year, he has a LOVELY new K5 Thousand to crack the 300 barier. You're all dead.
