Maybe even meeting at the Caltex AT 8:30. I'm keen to get there and register for the event before it starts so I can get as many runs in as possible.
The runs start at 9:30. So meeting at 8:30 would give us a chance to piss around a bit before leaving Caltex.

    Thoughts?

Thinking I might bring the 400 for a laugh. Less chance of embarrassingly slow runs on the R6 too.

    But.

I'm only entering if Velox does too. (Was going to say something about naked Honda riders sticking together, but got all embarrassed. Oops)

I can make that. More runs before to many people there will save embarressment before the k5's show up.. :-)

Well, if she doesn't show, you an' me on our unfaired lowed capacity bikes will be embarressed together.

Excellent! Everyone seems to think the small capacity bikes are a bit pointless at a sprint meeting, but I'm in it for fun. Plus if I do something silly to the CB I'm not going to slit my wrists.

Do we get to vote for which Honda rider gets naked?

I've got fark all spare time, and very much doubt if I will be able to attend (and would be even more surprised if my bike has fork seals by then), but on the off chance that a miracle happens... what's the deal with the day? I'm not interested in destroying a clutch on the standing, when are the flyings? And can I just roll up, whack one out and bugger off? No pun intended.

Maybe the organisers will allow you a free run if you roll up naked, whack it off and bugger away?

Last year the flying runs were first and then the standing runs after lunch.

I think I still hold the record for fastest 600.

I don't need the expense of my own bike mate, people are lining up to lend 'em to me. And good bikes too, like Gixxer 1Ks and race bikes. None of that Kumandsukme rubbish though.

    Yip...253.66kph beats my 227.38 hands down...but i did beat the '03 R6 which only posted 197.06.

Jim...maybe you should bring the R6 along...try and reclaim some respect for Yamaha riders around the country.

That's my last trip on the K4 600. The year earlier I did 261 on my K3.

Edit for Buggy. The speedo was reading 288

Hmmm. I thought I might just watch this one and have a go in the one next month or whenever it is. What would be cool though would be to do a drag with the little bikes, except they don't let you go at the same time eh?
