    Procrastinating

I dont procrastinate, I just take my time and think about the task very carefully.

Behind the garage is a 50cm gap to the high concrete block wall. About 3 years ago I noticed a small tree 50cm high growing in that gap. My wife decided it had to come out. I thought long and hard about the best way to tackle the problem.

Today I dived in while the tree was looking the other way. Two minutes with the prunning saw and I dragged the 2m high privet tree out onto the lawn. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

The garden tap has needed locating since we moved into the place. Wouldn't take much, but I'll get around to it shortly. Plenty of other five minute jobs waiting to be done, but I'll probably do them when the time is right.

Any other 'Deep' thinkers out there?

Write it all up on a list, then all the little jobs turn into 'fuck yeh, I can do that', and the large ones are just 'fuck that'

Thought of looking for a better motorcycle forum, but just haven't found the time to do so.

Awa###, ya light weight. That pesky privet is laughing at you. If it was 2m high then it has roots 2m out from it. Kill it. Agent orange, napalm, diesel & round up. Drill the stump or hack at it like a maniac, when shattered, you probably sooner than stump, drench it in toxic stuff.

Tell me more Akzle, I have a privet nursery & gorse & wild ginga & horrible vine stuff which is tougher than kevlar & bamboo & & & etc.,

But yeah, na, yeah. I move into action when I do it once & do it right. Or put another way, with considered intentions. Or just been to Bunnings.

So yeah, I learn from my mistakes. The best time to do "it" is when you want to do "it", not have to do "it".

Procrastination is our psyche's way of stopping us from fixing the same problem twice, or beer or laziness.

    Kahili is wild ginga?
Pulse vine is anything that grows from the nodules above & below ground? Specially below ground with the shite we have.

It's time & energy. Get in, hack to the ground, clear it, burn it, spray it's off spring with poison.

The biggest procrastinator I have in the shed is my Mexican mattock, the root digger. I can look at it, think about it & not touch it at all, for months.

I've been meaning to convert my fridge into a beer fridge for too many months. Yesterday I bought the kit, today I'll put a brew down, next week I'll get the co2 cylinder............... maybe.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
