    Do you not own the CBR anymore? Because you're not gonna get anything much better than that...unless it's a shitter of course. But in that case, $5k could turn it into something pretty bloody cool.

    sorry mate im just riding my frds CBR and its time to reture to him and but my own bike. any suggestions for a learner mate?

    Welcome to the forum Kay.

    Keep an eye out in other regions and don't rule out older bikes. My '07 Ninja cost $2501, plus $180 shipping from Invers to Dunners. Not as 'sharp' looking as an 08 onwards maybe but still a hoot.

    as mentioned, consider other areas. can still work out good value even after paying to get a bike frighted from the other end of the country.

    Why are you looking at only 250cc bikes?
