O my gosh I'm so tempted (not by the giant girl marketing ploy), I owned one of these and it could be put back on the road fairly easily
Its cheap and just around the corner from me, please someone do me a favour and buy it before I do, and load my credit card and garage even more
it is a good buy at that price, and cool that it comes with roadie bits. like you say it wouldnt take too much to get it back on the road. sp370 was the frst big bike i rode...first thumper actauly, aged 13 i thought it was a big grunter!

yeah man, it was white with blue decals and seemed heavy, although i did manage to wheelie it (first point of business!) about 12" off the ground lol
must say my bike at the time was a suzuki A50 (trail-ised) so even a landscout 80 woulda seemed more powerful hehe
btw....heres another wee thumper worthy of this page, and a cheap classic adv bike!http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=723147399

okey dokey, das xl500s now sits in my shed after a $425.00 trip from nelson. looks as good or even a bit better than the trademe pics indicated. i kicked it in the guts half a dozen times and it started and purred nicely, headlight and horn even went. will start refitting indicators and taillight etc then take it for a hoon down the road..and take sum pics
