The only thing winning it guarantees is that one day, you will lose it. I don't really care if we don't hold it for long either. We've done the deed in my lifetime and I am now overwhelmed by a great inner peace!

I bet we get a bigger crowd at Forsyth Barr than they got in Hamilton last night though. The place will rock!

Err - the Ref (Glen Jackson) was born in Fielding, played for BOP, and had 60 games for the Chiefs.

Yea, I know, was just taking the piss. What amazed me was how slow the game seemed to be played, compared to the super 15 and international games. The pace of the game actually made it easier to follow.

I'm pleased with Otago's win. They should hold it this coming weekend.

It would be nice if we still held it prior to the last game as that is Southland. Otago vs Southland for the shield would be epic!

Oh fuck no, we have enough problems with alcohol consuming idiots as it is.

Would be a good game though.

My daughter ... a budding journo, wrote this. Quite a good read. Of course I would say that! (it's from a female rugby supporters site)
