Without being a bit wet and greasy it wouldn't be as much fun and only 18km a lap, if it was totally dry I think you'd have to go hard out to enjoy it, some fun hill climbs but nothing very hard, dunno about the enduro sections I only did one of them which wasn't any harder than the main trail
Me and Mike go past this guy at 12.38
Yep, I watched it now. Looks like hard work in places,(especially with worn tyres) even worse for younger inexperienced riders. Though if dry it'd be perfect for them. Lifes been easy with all the droughts these last few years and getting 50+ hours out of a rear tyre. By the time I'm back into it, it should be dryer. New tyre maybe next autumn. Running the"tubliss" system makes a huge difference. Running usually 4 psi in rear.

The only place it was hard work was where he had the first lay down and going by the numbers there when I came through I'd say 3/4 plus were having a lay down there (I might have had a couple)
Not sure why they'd let them but there were kids on peewees on the course, I think it would be a shit day for them and the people looking after them
I'm not doing Conway but I'll do the Mendip Hills ride early August, used to know the people running the farm back when I was a school boy, some good piss ups in the shearers quarters up there
For those interested.
