Worst part of it was the drive in 20km and about 40 minutes

Pretty easy on the main loop, we had intended to do Enduro loops but the dozen people we could see spread over the hillside going nowhere on the first climb soon put paid to any thoughts about that, the first hill climb I cam off on, the hill wasn't very long but very bumpy, rutted rocks etc, couple of small bogs, few river crossings, Waipara, Amberley and Mendip hills would rate higher

I developed a gearbox problem and only had 1st and 2nd 22km in, another 10km all my gears reappeared so I finished the loop but stripping it down shows a broken bit in the powervalve let a ball bearing escapes through the gearbox and I need some replacement gears and with Northern NZSBK coming up it'll be April before I get out on another one

Yes was a good ride, the first enduro hill climb was interesting, it got progressively steeper a harder, Thank god I had the Goldentyre GT-523 Gummy tyre on, that was my get out of jail free card, I got to the top and I was the second bike through the gate. The second enduro was a downhill run which was steep in places and fun, the third enduro deviation was a short steep hill climb, totally rideable but provided lots of entertainment guys flipping bikes, the rest of the ride was easy rolling country, over all a fun ride
    Cheers Paul

One of the RMX guys in Oz is sending me some gears from a transmission with a dicked 4/5th gear, the parts aren't very expensive, even new the gears are $65-70USD but free is better

We watched it for a bit, there was a guy on a TF125 having a go at it and he'd got as far up as anyone else

I'd come down and give it a try if you restricted it go 1/2 throttle so my shandy drinking arse doesn't get bruised. But we have a ride up here at the top of the Jville tip.

Batch has a spare bike with your name on it if you ever want to make an appearance

It is quite possible my bike ended up 10 metres down a steep bank while I ended up 15 metres down the same bank but as there are no photos of the incident I can claim it didn't happen, great day, great track, I'm fucked

My two photos do no justice. Jeez we , and I mean about a dozen maybe 20 went by accident reverse direction down a AA section. Took us an hour or more to get out once we decided there was little chance of getting up a step. The Bush bashing alternative made me wish I'd tried that step and hope to avoid the tree. I'd have made the step I think. About 4 foot straight up. But on an angle and aforementioned tree to miss.

    What fucking photos ?

Enduro 3 today my mate said he was just launching his bike out from under him up the little hill, pick it up, repeat 3-4 times to get to the top

The other week at Amberley just about everyone went down an enduro loop on lap one, it wasn't too bad but for one little steep climb at the end but created a big traffic jam

Today was a 42km lap of which half was 1-3 gear forestry which seemed like it'd never end, did two laps, ignored the Enduro deviations as per normal
