Big end bearing shit itself, crank of unknown age and mileage although checked and trued before the engine was rebuilt

Totara Valley last Sunday! Another awesome ride! Cant believe that in 4 rides over 5 weeks they have all been so varied. Early mist left wet long grass and the Beta lost her virginity the first time I touched the front brake on a steep downhill! The Xtrainer was awesome. What a bike. The modern KDX. They say it is 20% bike 80% rider but this thing is going to improve my riding for sure!

Good effort. I've done that ride a couple of times, it's a bloody awesome ride, unfortunately I couldn't make it this year. Are you running the Tubliss system ?

Even our most experienced KB off road riders do that regularly and benefit from ACC to patch them up.

    Just saying...

Then his post count will drop significantly like yours and Laavas has.

This benefits the whole KB community. You see there are less than 10 KBers who can't handle what I post. Yes that is right darling, you Ladys in the KB Knitting Circle

Two KB members- numbnuts and bearies are having a wee lay down in a pink padded rooms listening to classical music.

No, but l could see me going this way. The factory fitted shinkos are not great tyres

Shikos come rather high up in the type of riding you are doing. What model are you using? What pressures have they got?

I use a Shinko rear and it is far better than the Metz Tourance it replaced.

A Shinko gummy 525 might be ok at this time of year as long as it is not wet but a std 525 with FIM reg height knobs is little use to man nor beast. That will be coming off and going on my adv 250 and A Bridgestone X30 at 10 psi will be replacing it. The 216 front looks aggressive but did not inspire the confidence I like in a front. That will get a Bridgestone X20 at 12 psi.

I was running x20 front and x30 rear and liked that combo (with Tublis at rear which is absolutely brill). Recently changed a shinko 520 I think, and it's been great in many conditions, mates had all raved about it.
