Did some pre Amberley bike testing on the weekend, dragged out the mighty DR143 big block as I might do a lap on that while Madness rides his TF125

Mint day at Amberley, the mighty DR143 big block climbed every hill in its path, unlike the 2020 X Trainer I passed while it lay on it's side and the 300RR I passed in the muddy gully and the KTM400 stuck on a hill along with various other lesser bikes

What can l say....l was making good progress up a vertical cliff when l was deafened by the roar of a big block Dr behind me. I would have made the climb but was blown off the bike by the roost as kick came past....on the back wheel!

No, l did the training day out there the day before and l was just stuffed. We finished 1 lap and that was that. Very pleased after seeing that mess! The good rider in our group did two and ran into the bottleneck.

I must come down to chch at some stage to impress upon you the superior 2 stroke principles.

    Again.

Ordered pipe and needles. Geez factory jetting is complete rubbish. Much to be found there.

    Suspension is dreadful standard too.

    Electric start is wonderful.

Concerned about hardening on flywheel. Picture I took looks bad. But I still bought it because Chris said he would send me his flywheel if I ever had problems.
