I didn't make it past warm up lap on that one. I had a little lie down and young Andy Mac ran me over. But I'm kinda glad I sat that one out after the monsoon came.

Still the worst race I ever competed in "The Big Wet" early signs of hypothermia amongst many of the finishers

Went and picked some parts up for my next Trail weapon the Legendary TF125, I have no doubt it will be passing Beta 300 in no time

VHS and Beta cassettes were a similar size but completely incompatible . Apparently Beta (Sony) was better quality but VHS (JVC and others) was better marketed.
Broadcasters used a professional version of Beta for a long time after the domestic version stopped production
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Actually Beta was initially the superior technology, but VHS was cheaper and that's what the porn industry standardised on as picture quality wasn't that high on the priorities list. So grubby little perverts like yourself sealed its fate. Sony did go on to other successful products though.

I went out to the bike park on Monday. Cold but rideable. However and I shit you not, some crackhead rednecks were having a ballistic meltdown in the parking bay next to me, fists and all, so I decided a strategic retreat was the safest plan. Home I went.
I remember that BOB you guys are reminiscing about- I was marshalling on the carousel iirc and when that front hit, exposure city! I remember when Kick's Big Block chernoballed too-ouch. Not quite up there with Dangerous' FXR150 reverting to kitset state-a job worth doing is worth doing right! Too soon D?

Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!
