Yes Lees valley was excellent. I thought it might be a bit lame but was just right. Those bogs were......boggy! Good test for my damaged knee. Bring on the Gowanlee mud!

3 laps of Gowanlea and 1 enduro means I might have overdone it. I think I kicked a rock at some stage.....ouch! Good ride though. Interesting riding down the gully of death that caused so much grief last year.

That Hawarden forest ride was postponed until 25/7 because of the flooding. It was a most excellent ride-about 90% in forest with some fun tracks. 2 tricky river crossings. People were raving about it and want more of the same. Weather was el minto which always helps. Yes, will have to come out and try your track before it washes away or am I too late already?

I thought it was a bit average, I was expecting more forestry work like Waipara, first lap helped pick a young lass up out of the first river crossing when she fell off in front of me, 2nd lap had to lend my tools to an Orange bike rider to undrown his at the same spot

Peaks wasn't bad but some very slippery places, I walked my bike down one bit for about 50 metres while 7 people fell off trying to ride down

I saw you on one of Mr Streeter's Utube videos at the Peaks. Looked like quite a few were struggling on those muddy climbs. One of my mates who went is still getting over it!

After not doing to badly getting around the entire course I fell off in that gateway doing about 5kmh

We decided after lap 1 not to bother with another main loop as we thought a few hundred bikes would have made it much worse for lap 2 so we did the short loop and buggered off

Amberley, Oct 10th, probably done more laps of that one than any other, first was about 20 years ago on the same IT200
