Do enough of these rides and your turn will come

I was offered a ride out on the quad. That sounded like hell. Plus someone might have seen me.

The steep cunty hill I rolled down on the bike a few metres at a time. Looked safer than walking.

I could barely fucking walk let alone ride, I got a ride out to the ambulance in a side by side, that's better than a quad right ?

Lol, gold right there! Yes, Waiau is my sights. I just dont like the idea of pre registering in case the weather is really nasty.

Yeah some of the tracks would on the main loop would be much more difficult if it was wet

9 weeks on, thought I'd better get xray. 5 ribs still broke. Well now I know. Guess that explains a few things

Waiau this weekend. I am just doing Saturday. Sunday's track sounds better but weather looks worse.

The weather was mint, however l felt the course was pretty average. Not much challenge in the main loop.( and l am a bit wimpy to do Enduro loops unless they have been checked out first as muppet friendly!) Very dusty. Kick, l saw an it200, was that you?

Yes. The following weekend is Beautiful Valley ride between Geraldine and Fairlie. Should be a goodie. Not too far away.

Great ride. Nor Wester kept the dust mostly away. Kick had the mighty RMX out. Nice. I did fail on the first Enduro. More hill climb practice needed......

Beautiful valley was ummm beautiful! Brilliant weather and a technical track with some great forestry sections. Some of the steepest descents l have done. Unfortunately l borked my knee on a slow speed crash on a wet grass downhill and could only do one lap. Great ride.

Lees Valley this weekend. Will be a good test for the damaged knee! Gowanlea the following weekend. This ride separated the men from the boys last year! I was firmly in the boys category!
