A nice day to return to riding, shoulder repair appears to be successful.
Yep, sure was muddy. The bigger of the two bogs had heaps of bikes stuck on our last lap. I lost some sweat, did three laps, 91 km's, need to get back some level of fitness.
Bring on Waipara in two weeks.

I didn't find that too hard to get through, went down the right side on lap one and the left on lap two, didn't stop or get stuck anywhere

He needs to loosen the death grip on the bars and let them find their own path.
The force he uses to grip the bars should be used to grip the seat and sidecovers with his knees and thighs
fuck it gets even funnier after a few minutes thanks for that Kick.
epic fail pass that was never going to happen tbone combo
plus stay away from group rides with the pressure to keep up.

you have to post that in the jokes section

Shit that was funny to watch, he just didn't appear to have a good day. Needs to concentrate more around other riders, gateways and fences though.

Fuck off it was, I reckon the wind shifted me 500mm sideways coming off a small jump

Brilliant section through the forestry though, seemed much better once a few bikes had been over it the second time around

Yeah um well the weather forcast girl said it was gonna be real nice. Fuck that wind was strong in places. Heading up towards the pylon, gateway before it, was hit & miss. Forest was great with excellent traction. Green grass was a problem for my daughter, with using way too much front brake on the downhills, and over she went a few times. But over all it was another great ride.
Next ride for us will be Omihi on the 10th December.

My f$&king bike developed a miss a couple of Kms in on my first loop. Had to push the f&@ker back. New plug, seemed fine, did the novice loop just fine. In the middle of the forest, lost all top end power. Not much fun trying to do the climb just above idle, slipping the clutch.....shame, would have been an excellent ride.

I had to be real careful with the RMX on the hillsides with that grass, stepped out quite a few times, I'll be up for that ride as well

Fairlie trail ride, who's going ?
A slight change for me. Number one son has convinced me to do the ride on the 26th ( Clayton station)
The Beta fork seals have been leaking on and off for some time, ( seal doctor kept them going) so have just had them replaced after 135 hours.
