would gpz500 eng fit in gpz400?

i have seen a good[ish] gpz500 engine+frame on trademe and was wonering if gpz500/gpz400 bits are interchagable. also would the rear fairing and seat trom a gpz600 fit on my gpz400 cos the bits look to be of the same size.cheers

Well my opinion is that the 400 and 500 engine mounts would be totally different, owing to the fact that one is a four cylinder and the other a twin.

400 and 600 parts should be interchangeable I would think.

I believe GPz400's were essentially 600's with smaller bore and stroke.
    But GPz500's are totally different.

    Cheers
    Chris

Is the gpz400 an air cooled four? If so the aircooled z500, z550, gpz 550 or the zepher 550 motors could be the go.
