I know it's a week away (and I don't want to jinx anything) but look at Fri/Sat/Sun of next week http://www.metservice.com/towns-cities/kaitaia

2011 was mint, last year we got rain for the second half of Saturday, but an ice cream from Bush Fairy Dairy made up for that
Another weather site I use says the same, but only goes a week out http://www.metvuw.com/forecast/forec...n=nzni&tim=168

I'm quite pleased to see that, for no particular reason ...

Well I've got my $80 tent that I've used, um, twice I think? And a $6 tarp from the warehouse. And a freshly serviced bike to get me there.

[Yoda voice] A learning experience I am looking for it is [/Yoda voice] though so bring it on...I think?

You can have your bike with you on the grass area if you want, the trampoline has gone and the tables will up at the whare kai. Just bring a jar lid for the side stand so that it doesn't sink into ground as they sometimes can.

My leg you do pull, surely?

Well, the force is supposedly in all things...but mainly Star Wars. Haven't seen Titanic (sorry Kate, liked you in Eternal Sunshine though) but Gollum I guess could be Yoda after a hard night?

"Yoda vs Gollum", now there's a whole new franchise idea (don't tell George.)

Thanks but mine should be OK, hasn't really been tested much so far which is why I want to use it again. Er, not expecting to go bush anytime soon either, sigh.
