Yeah, Ima ride down in my wet gear as well, I just hope the weather doesnt decide to turn to Hot mode and make me too warm, should be fine though, Cant wait otherwise, should be a good ride!

:Lunch on Sunday is now at the Mangawhai Tavern (Confirmed booking)
:Cove road from Waipu to Waipu Cove has new loose seal on the long straight bit (50 kph area) and also after leaving Langs Beach there is new loose seal, but other than that, the road is in good shape.

: Parking at the Tavern is around the back in front of the stage, the gate will open from the main car park area.

Minor road works on SH10 between waipapa and the turnoff to matauri bay. Mangamukas and in fact all of SH 1 between whangarei and awanui is in good nick. Apart from about 200m of major road rebuilding in the 70km zone southbound in Moerewa. Did not go around the matauri bay loop. All of twin bridges road is in good nick as well. Hope you guys all have a good ride up, may join you for saturday only but will depend on customs and couriers!

Thanks Al, won't be doin' the Muka's this time, more is the pity as it was a tad wet last year up in them parts. Be good to see ya on the Saturday... even if its on the VStrom.
We bypass Moerewa and join onto SH10 at Puketona Juntion

Matauri bay loop road has multiple patches of seal under repair. Should hopefully be fixed by next weekend, then there will be patches of gravel on corners an most likely no sights to warn you

The Beachouse café in Paihia is now called Café Thirty/30. They are expecting us around 1:30pm on Friday.

Pukenui Cafe' is booked Coffee/Lunch on Saturday.

Mangawhai Tavern is booked for lunch on Sunday.

As usual. My mate Denis from waipapa laid his aprillia down there near te ngaire bay a few months back in the pea shingle.
