Yep the beach is do-able by all on any type of bike. It is well worth doing. And the ride through
Te Paki stream is fun too!

I wouldn't recommend taking anything to "sporty" on the beach and up Te Paki stream.
The narrow clip on style bars can be a cunt to man handle when hitting the areas where the stream cuts through the sand banks.
I've had sports bikes on Baylys Beach where I grew up and you gotta have a good idea of what you're doing on sand cause the bike wants to move around a lot.
That said, sand can make even the most gutless bike seem like a 200hp superbike. Wheel spin in third, etc

If I'm around i'll do me usual day trip on Saturday, if that's ok

I'll be coming along as well.

Unfortunately I'm saving up my leave for a big trip over Christmas so I'll see you up at Coopers after work on the Friday I'll leave early and have everything ready to go

I'll hopefully book today for Ash and I!

Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.
