Im itching to leave already myself, had a bit of a run around today getting my gel seat sorted, a New Jacket ( Dri riders too hot! ) and fixing one bulb that blew in the gauge, otherwise, Went shopping for another pair of togs and im all set, other than my tooth brush and Cellcharger lead

Togs?... keen man!

Almost ready from this end, had a hell of a time the last two days doing an oil change, had to removed the damn exhaust to get the oil filter off it was on so tight.
Just gotta run it upto temp and bleed the rad and check the oil, put the fairings back on and im good to go.

So everybody ready for tomorrow?

Not quite as organised as I should be, tarp is a bit small to use as a groundsheet (such a disappointment for a camper) but will do for wrapping up the tent and camp chair, not that I'll need it with the forecast looking as good as it is - even thinking about wearing my mesh jacket (bit worried if I do though it will suddenly start raining). Bike is running as well as it's ever likely to, now has the right amount of oil and coolant in it so rush hour motorway traffic tomorrow, here I come.

Who is coming down to Invercargill for the Burt Munro with me, leaving Friday 22nd for two weeks.

I'd be keen, only the company makes me take three weeks of my leave in December unless I organise things way in advance.

Fun? I reckon that is a given. Thanks Mark. So happy to have a decent forecast. This is a special trip north for me. First time riding to the cape. Last time we did this trip, I was in a moon boot and Tony (ynotslow) was my chauffeur. This time my pegs are down, I am taking him to the cape on Millie!
