    Prime Minister Involved in Air Crash!

    PM unhurt in air crash

    NZPA reports that Prime Minister Helen Clark, narrowly escaped injury in the aircraft that she was piloting when she was forced to make an emergency landing in New Plymouth because of bad weather.



    CAA officials have issued a preliminary determination that pilot error contributed to the accident, and that the Prime Minister was flying a single engine aircraft in IFR [instrument flight rating] conditions while only having obtained a VFR [visual flight rating] rating.



    The absence of a post-crash fire was likely due to insufficient fuel on board. No one on the ground was injured.



    Photographs taken at the scene show the extent of damage to Ms Clark's aircraft.

    So now she'll be grounded untill a full and complet investigation has been conducted by the civil aviation authorities. The enquiry will be unable to come to any conclusive agreement as to the cause of the accident. Bishop Tamiki will use this as further evidence of the errosian of our country and insist that she be burnt at the stake. National just having dumped Brash will wholehearltedly agree. The greens in coalition will claim this will cause further polution and will add to the greehouse house effect. Nandoor as a compromise will agree with Bish Tamiki just as long as New Zealand Green is used instead of the traditional faggots. Tim Barnett will oppose this on the grounds of sexual discrimination and begin the lentghy process of having the word faggot banned from all school textbooks. By this time it will be time for the next general election in which case Helen was not flying the Broom it was Ruth Dyson. She will again be charged for drunk driving and get off becasue someone in the Crown Law Office changed the wording.

    What is the method of propolsion on that thing? I know Helen contains enough hot air to keep it airborne (hence why it doesnt need wings), however if she was also using that for fuel, can someone check to make sure she has been paying her fart tax? Not to mention the carbon tax . . . fuel surcharges . . . airport levies . . . it might just be enough for her to change her mind on National's tax cuts . . .

    And has any one thought to charge her with carrying an unstable load? Or failing to wear a seat belt. And is that broom up to warrant standard? Those bristles look a little worn out . . .

    Yes, one must wonder if it has attained its air worthiness certificate from the CAA. However, one could argue that the bristle damage is either from the accident itself, or from overuse and the inability to fund a new fleet of Brooms?
