    Gb400 / 650

GB400 with an xr650 engine fitted.
It's got a few other fancy bits too.

Cool bike... would make a wicked base for a stripped down cafe racer

Some parts of that bike I love (koni's, engine, fork insides) But the rest of your mods look like its made to be ridden with gumboots.
    What's with the love hump?

GB400 is on the LAMs list. Cool, this bike isn't.

    No modifications allowed.

Even if the cop doesn't realise it's a 650, the pod filter would get someone a ticket.

I'm just pointing out that the Trademe listing is misleading.

I imagine it is still registered as a 400. Illegal to sell it as a road legal vehicle at all without a cert though, so doesn't really matter.

Rego on hold. Did you also read on my listing that time wasters aren't welcome? Are you a genuine buyer, or just wasting my time?

Ha, oddly enough the questions are in jest. He always thinks he's funny. Especially when he's wearing his batman costume.

Agreed, thankfully I'm only responsible for the cool stuff. It's hilarious seeing the look on people's faces when they can't shake you from their mirrors

Sure would! It was actually, but then I got a bit old, and added some comfy stay out of the rain stuff. Easy to unbolt of course!

"It turns out a gb400 is LAMS legal too, so you learner and restricted license holders are in luck!"

No, they fucken aren't! The bike is modified.

"Current WOF (Photo of clean WOF sheet attached) and Reg on hold"

Was the wof done prior to the motor transplant or summat? I don't see any pictures of the cert for the repower.

Wasting your time? I prefer to think, I'm saving some poor learner a shit load of their time instead.

No, I'm not a genuine buyer. The thing is over priced for what it is too!

    Wow, that was quick.
    Time waster for sure.
Thanks for all your valuable input.
    You're awesome.
And should be knighted, if you're not already of course.

Oddly enough I need to visit chch shortly to see the in laws. There's been a heap of interest, so I wouldn't give him away, but I would be keen on one last decent ride if location is an issue. Give me a call on the cell number listed if you are truly keen, and we could work out a deal. Would need to post the goodies that aren't bolted on though I guess?
