I’ve geared it at 13/47 with a speedo drd healer. Seems to be geared ok for my use.
Tyres? I am a bit of the "go with what's available" type of tyre guy. Been very happy with the AC 10's although the rear couldn't handle the South Island and chewed out in under 3000 ks.
Ran a Shinko on the rear for the rest of the trip and it did the business nicely Got back into the North Island and that Shinko had to go

Love the WR I think riding a smaller bike harder is easier than riding a big bike slower, will look at more mods as time goes by.

I'm looking at getting a sandman sprocket cover from the state's in order to run a 14 tooth front sprocket. They do what is called a freedom set which comes with a few other protection pieces, just Google them for more info. I emailed the guy and they are $75 usd plus $32 usd shipping. He said he can ship two sets for that price so if someone is keen let me know, I can get them sent to me and forward the second set on. That works out to be $91 usd with the combine shipping. About 132 nzd. Let me know in the next few days if anyone is interested.

Totally recommend these. I have one on my bike. It lets all the mud and shite out from around the sprocket plus it looks cool. And looking cool is what's ruuurlly important. Any one want a lowering link for their WR? Fitted it, rode the bike round the South Island and decided I didn't really need it so its done approx. 6000 ks.

I know someone may be looking to lower a WR soon. Will point him here in case he is in the market.

Edit: nope, he's sorted already sorry.

Had mine up in the 'naki over Xmas. Puttered around on the farm on it a little. Hoping to get it dirty before I go back to work.

    Larger tank,

Anyone got a larger tank to sell, or recommendations on brand and where to buy from? Cheers.

I've got a spare standard one

Just replaced mine with a Safari - not a cheap process. FYI, the IMS 18L is cheaper than the Safari 13.6L - talk to Bruno at Cycletreads. I ended up getting a reasonable deal on the Safari - thought the 18L was getting a bit over the top size/weight wise...
