We have 2 - one (tabby) is a little hellion and spends most of her time hiding under stuff so she can jump out and rip yer face off (see photos for evidence of her laying in wait!) and the other (tortishell) is.....defective. She is THE most placid cat out there. Mum may have been on catnip when this one was in the womb.

OK, I give in...I never thought I'd post a picture of our cat on a website for big butch bikers. Spose it just goes to show that we are all big softees when it comes down to it. So here's a picture of Domino with three legs and a baseball bat! Yes, he's going for the sympathy vote here folks...this is the result of two(?) days caught in a gin trap after he went walkabout.
In actual fact the bandage hides a remarkable job by the vet who managed to save most of his leg but had to amputate his fingers. Domino has adjusted really well...he still does all the things cats do. You know...stalks, climbs, sleeps, eats flies etc. One advantage of having no claws on one of his front legs is that he only scratches half the sofa. And his killing activities have been severely curtailed. No longer do we get headless rabbits dragged in through the cat flap and presented to us in our bedroom. And the local birdlife can breath a sigh of relief too. He may look like butter wouldn't melt, but in his day of four sets of claws he was ruthless!
