    Speed limits around Auckland Airport?

Does anyone know the speed limits for the roads around auckland airport? I'm tempted to drive my 50cc scooter and pay for parking, which for a short trip works out cheaper than busing. Just wanting to make sure I'm not going to get caught on 100km roads going 55 :P

    Thanks

no idea about the speed limits (as I live in Wellington, NZ) but Wellington Airport has free parking for bikes surely Auckland Airport does the same?

You can get to Auckland airport in a roundabout way from Mangere without having to go in the 80kay bits but from Manukau you have to go all the way down to Mangere and back south. From memory.

no. I think every inbound has 80km. Papatoetoe-puhunui could be the best bet.

As Trashie says, you can go back ways: http://goo.gl/maps/6JGqy

George Bolt and Puhinui Rd are 100kph into the airport, but inside the airport it's all 50kph. After turning out of Verissimo Drive you'd have a short stretch of 100kph, but it turns to 60kph pretty quickly.

No Akzle's right, George Bolt is 80k into the airport, from at least Kirkbride Rd.

You'll get away with using the old Mangere Bridge on a scooter too, although it's a bit tight at the Mangere end as they build the new boat ramp.
