I just want to apologise on behalf of MX5 owners, many of us own, have owned or know people who ride bikes. Me personally I watch my mirrors for bikers in traffic and move out the way.

I just hope this doesn't reflect badly on the MX5 community as this is one persons view and doesn't reflect other MX5 owners.

No apology necessary mate, Kiwi Biker has more than its share of knuckle-draggers who are happy to jump on any bandwagon. My wife has an MX5 with all sorts of trick bits on it and it's huge fun to drive on the twisty roads where we live. I'm personally more concerned about the poor driving habits of 4x4 owners and Harley riders but we can't say that, can we because that would be a generalisation

C'mon mang, he only came here to make sure he didn't get caught up in mistaken identity. He's a good dude and not the same Kieran as 'Kieran'. Quite apart from anything else though, he doesn't care about power; he drifts pretty successfully on his little 1.6L engine

I think 'Kieran' is a fucking moron for thinking and posting that sort of thing. I'm not going to say he deserves to have a few biker heavies pay him an actual visit but I hope he's learned from this.
