Newbie with a mini dirt bike (quick kiwi)

    hey everyone.
i have come looking for a few minds to rack and find out what you guys think. i have a chinese mini dirt bike (yes i know it's meant for kids) and it's been thru the wars but i want to learn from it.
i will eventually build either a reverse trike for off road use or a 4 wheeler buggy also off road use, roll cage, suspension, lights, the works but i want to do it with a motor cycle design at heart.
if you can help me on this learn curve please don't hesitate.

i also want to start a group up that will ride with, mod and fix up pit bikes of all types and i don't mind lending a hand.
i have worked on cars and scooters thru out my life so i have the basics behind me.

this is sort of the history and a few things i have found out about my bike

Why a pit bike "meant for kids" and not a proper bike? Was it a budget thing or you just trying to be different? Anyway welcome to the forum and anything with TWO wheels gets the thumbs up from me.
