CERN Made A Star Last Year

A star has already been done Mashie. CERN created a quark-gluon plasma 18 months ago with a temperature of 3 billion degrees Kelvin. That is magnitudes hotter than the Sun.

Did it last as long as the KSTAR effort?
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

People who read the history books (You know! the text below the pictures), Yup! They're the crazy ones.

The references/records of many of these events only existed in news papers and scientific journals of the time, and some in his biography and documentaries and books published by researchers who did the research of thousands of documents from the period. Over the years I have read much and watched many documentaries that contained quotes to original documents, but I never thought to write them all down for you. Hell! I didn't even know you. You are just going to have to do it for yourself. Google is your friend.

However, as always I have a YouTube taster which shouldn't stretch your attention span too greatly

Don´t think it was a fusion reaction though?

    Fusion smugeion whatever.

I've been keeping an eye on the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) research facility in France which is building a fusion reactor. Fascinating stuff.

Definitely the way forward for the human race. If only we weren´t so retarded in our thinking. Imagine how many experimental reactors we could have made for 5 Trillion dollars wasted on the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, might even be enough change left over for NASA to launch a manned mars mission.

Uninteresting little sidenote, but Kelvin doesnt have degrees, only Fahrenheit and Celsius (in relation to temperature). Correct statement is

"CERN created a quark-gluon plasma 18 months ago with a temperature of 3 billion Kelvin."

    Learn something every day.

Also CERN or ITER recently trapped and held some anti-matter in a tokamak. If that could be done in a continuous way we'd have virtually unlimited clean energy, even better than fusion.

Unfortunately at present making anti-matter is not efficient.

90% of what you all think to be something,

    is nothing.

space-atoms can pass clean through the erth without hitting anything.
that's how much nothing there is.
while you may feel like you're made of something... you're 90% not.

    neat, huh?

and i don't think mining the universe for anti matter, with so little understanding of everything, and even less understanding of nothing, is a good idea. humans've already fucked a planet, a universe is another thing entirely.

    colonise mars!

We dont need more energy to piss up against the wall and keep the power cost meters whirring.

With planning and a true conservative and less commercial mindset, current energy use can be reduced by 90% with no substantial loss of daily activity

IIRC one of the problems with Tesla's tower of power was the effect of electrical radiation and the inability to harness and target it.

If you hold up a fluro tube outside a power station grid it glows. Too many ergs in the atmosphere for safety. Look at the too-doo's over living directly under power lines.

You managed to reduce your electricity usage by 90% without any issues?

I've done about 40% with not too much hassle. Turning shit off makes a HUGE difference.
Sadly it shows when I am lazy - last months bill was $350. Worst I have had in 5 years. Most are less than $100. Lowest was $60. I don't change power companies or anything fancy. We are a 3-4 (in-law visits) person household, in winter we run 3 electric heaters and electric blankets.

Previously my average was $250+ month.
