Sadly, shit does happen ( really?) and yes laughing about it is better than felling sorry for oneself.
The amount of time you have/are spending walking seems awfully high for not excessive speeds, what other circumstances were there for this travesty of justice to have occurred.?

Not walking yet .... still Riding as the system is broken / fucked .... the last offence happened at queens birthday weekend

#1 was 114kph in a 70 in the middle of butt fuck nowhere @ 2230 not long out of a 100 zone

#2 was 124kph in an 80 ( saint marys bay ) @ 0050

The fine has only just been ticked up ( admitted guilt so to speak ) ...... I have had to wait since then to be able to tick that up since I dont have $510 in my pocket, we are in 2013 ffs I SHOULD be able to say yup I fucked up ... set me up a time payment & lets go .... but no .... the cops give you 28days ... then send you a letter reminding you that you have to pay the fine ( just incase you forgot )
they then give you ANOTHER 28 days & then it goes to court ....
& then you get ANOTHER 28 days ( see where this is going ? you keeping up with the amount of wasted time here ?? )
& finally then you can tick the fine ...

On the phone the poor sap that answers your questions & takes you details then tells you that they want it payed off in 3 mths ... can you do that ...
after the laughter has stopped the answer is normally no ... followed by ... I will pay you $10pw ...
to which he replies , ok we will have to means test you ... sure by all means go ahead dude ... income of $xxx a week & rent is $500pw ... you do the math ....

they then say yup sweet as .

Not bad tho when you think about it .... it has been over 10yrs since I lost my licence so 10yrs with no tickets is not bad considering the list of cars I have had / driven

It's illegal for a police officer to speed as much as any other road user. They are only allowed to speed when their disco lights are on (safety issue). And only to catch up to people once they have broken the law.

A cop caught up to the bike without any lights on, the bike was at or above the speed limit. The cop had to be speeding/breaking the law to catch up.

That's the first thing I thought after reading Mikeys story, surely that's grounds to contest the fine or atleast petition that the cop get the same treatment.

Yeah I was not going to try & contest it ... I have tried on previous occasions & it did not work in my favour ... The IPCA told me to knob off & so did the Sr SGT who I also complained to about it ... in short they can do it & I cant as they know best & I dont.

Not surprised, one set of rules for them and one set for everyone else, I was thinking about joining up at one point seems like an easy way to get a good paycheck. unfortunately for me I have morals that stop me joining a gang, especially that gang
