used to be into mtb riding, but all the dirt motorbikes have made the place to dangerous, like to cycle touring ,rode 4500km thought euro in 2001 Holland to Corsica.(Corsica is way nice place no KFC (or PFK French)or MICK D's,hot sun nice beaches cheap camping) .My main hobbie would be complaning and moaning about all things from Abba on the radio to things from the usa.Man i hate G.W. Bush i would happly put a bullet though his head.

I still like punk rock, the old real stuff not this (green day)pop punk shit.

You people make me feel boring.

I tend to read. I enjoy fiction mostly, and a good variety. I took some dancing lessons last year - Salsa and Hussle, and would like to get back into that. I also have all these great schemes for learning Spanish. I am also spending a little bit of time investigating a business idea with a mate.

I used to play a lot of computer games.. haven't really been playing much lately though cos I've been quite busy doing a bunch of computer exams for work..
I get out on the mountain bike a fair bit, and go to the gym fairly regularly. I'm trying to get back into playing paintball in a social league this year
Still nothing beats leaving work early and going for a blast over the paekak hill road a couple of times

Hah! Like I'm supposed to have spare time with two kids under 2 and a full-time job.

Anyway... I read a lot (when I can). Just finished 'Quicksilver' by Neal Stephenson (kind of not-a-sequel to Cryptonomicon). Can recommend it.

Last couple of years I've been out of the gym, but I'm back again now, trying to train seriously... would like to get to the point of doing some competitive powerlifting meets next year but we'll see how that goes

I play the piano, but don't have one at the moment

    Thass about it really.

Not as sad as me having the original vinyl pressing on green vinyl (Had it from new)

Maybe I should try and sell it on trademe. Might be worth something...

and george dubya - surely you're joking? As they said in High Fidelity, bands like green day and Blink 182 would have been nowhere without Stiff Little Fingers, and they weren't anywhere near the first punk rockers.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Wot I get up to

Well I just finished my first year at Uni last year - at age 32 it's kinda a scary but really rewarding thing! I'm doing a Bachelor of Social Work. So at the moment I'm on summer break and when I start back it will be back to having virtually no social life b/c I'll be too busy studying!!

In the meantime I fill in my days by walking my dog, reading, love most music, love the movies, hanging out with friends (none of whom ride), drinking, love the beach and I want to figure out a way to be able to take my dog with me on the bike - she is too big to stuff down my jacket.

Actually at the moment I'm spending most of my time with my Mum who I hadn't seen in 2 & a hald years before she came back to N.Z after being in the U.K working - she's leaving again soon, so I'll be an orphan again

I've only been ridng a month so once my Mum goes I'll be on the bike LOTS more!!
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

You lucky thing studying full time. I started a bus psych degree last year but could only do part time and two double semester papers. I don't know when I can do another paper. But I reakon too manage full time like you would be awesome.

I have seen a farm dog jump on top of a small platform bolted on at the back of a dirtbike and hanging on to dear life as the bike went offroad. The dog loved it as well!

This other time while at Russel, I saw a small dog water sking.

Now if only I could do something with my cat thats scared of literally everything.

I love all animals but cats have less costs attached and they are really cool in their own way.
