You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.

Then MM arrived and everything changed up a gear

Not so much that the bar has risen, but that Marquez is going to be the dominating force he's being heralded as.

It's 50/50 for me right now. He'll be the next Doohan/Rossi, or the next Lorenzo I reckon.

How can he be the next Rossi/Doohan/Lorenzo when he has already surpassed their achievements for the beginning of a motogp career.

Maybe some day a young guy might get a factory ride and become the next Marquez.

Well so far it seems he's the next Freddie Spencer at least, and look how that ended. Things happen, barring injury I think his next major hurdle will be Michelin tyres. A change of rubber has sent more than one career into decline.

In some respects he's different though. It can be claimed that some former champions won because they had by far the best machinery, some had the best tyres, some may have had weak competition. None of these claims could fairly be levelled at Marquez.

Don't wait too long to be convinced, just enjoy it. We are witnessing something special.

And hey everybody, don't forget that we need to wind our internal clocks forward 24 hours, The Assen GP is always on a Saturday.

I Agree with you Pritch the new tyres will be a test especially if they really suit the Yammy? But he looks like he can ride anything to be honest.
I've often said I'd like to see him have a blast on the Yamaha just to prove it right or wrong??

Sat thanks for that finally wont have to stay away from the net all day Monday until I can watch it with my boy? Sat or Sunday GP night over here?

According to the SKY programme Moto3 qualifying kicks off at 10.30PM Friday and the race at 8.45PM Saturday. Can't check if that's all live because Dorna haven't got the times up yet for the Internet coverage.

Can't agree more. Two non biking mates have been hooked after the last couple of races. Jaws dropped. The one who should know better was caught, by his wife, leaping up & down in the living room, waving his fists in the air & yelling like a mad man. He's probably about 60.

Thanks Reckless, This one might be Yamahas' best chance yet to win one. Horhay is saying he needs a bit more top end speed. Assen might be a bit of a leveller with its sweeping corners.
Rossi is just wanting to fight.
'The joker' probably has other ideas ?

The Yamaha hasn't really looked any slower than the Honda to me.
