What part of for(int i=0xC02;putchar((i&7)+69)&&(i>>=3); ); don't you understand?
Funny how necessity takes people down the IT track, whether they want to or not.
I will get hold of an old desktop running XP at least, clean it up and install a USB to HDMI Adapter. Connecting the HDMI to the TV enables controlling play back with a cordless mouse, preferably Bluetooth. A couple of cold ones and you're good to go Gaz.![]()
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.
I'm sort of pleased about that, for a minute I was thinking buying an Apple TV had been a waste of money but you've made me feel better.
Slingshot and Orcon now let customers set up a USA IP address so it is possible to access great heaps of stuff from the 'Net with your TV. Lots of the sources, eg Disney etc want money, but you can see old movies on Crackle for free. I might be a bit slow, but I recently discovered all the movies on YouTube too. Great on a rainy day.
Meanwhile back in Barcelona...

Sweet so I buy a dongle !!! No I think have got ya, ta for that. My oldest boy had a box of tricks made by a mate to link a computer to his TV but that was 1200 bucks. He can help me too.
Got the cold ones going already Bill, and same to you for a thirsty xmas.
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
Boy can ride alright http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/212...prestigio.html

TV's ???
BTW Both me and my son have smart TV's His a little older Plasma and Mine a 55" LG so called Smart TV.
We both still use Computers to stream MotoGP, his an integral part of his system and I use my laptop plugged in Via HDMI.
I've found my WIFI network to slow for high quality images and use a direct wire from my Router to the laptop.
Luckily I have a feed point behind the TV. The LG will stream TV on demand from channel 3 but not 1 & 2?
My TV has integrated wireless, direct feed internet and all the bells but it just ain't as smart as the salesman would make out in the shop.
Quite frankly I feel ripped off to have to use the laptop as a work around but I'm sick of fucking around trying to get it do what an LG smart TV was marketed to do?
And show the MotoGP full screen via the TV (why I use the laptop)
If any of you are going to update your TV make sure it will do the job they are a rip imho (or the LG is)
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

When it became known that he was moving to Andorra it was assumed he was doing so to escape Spains punitive tax rates. He was upset at the implications as reported, some of which may not have been over polite. He announced that he will continue to pay tax in Spain meantime, even though the career of a GP rider may be short. He also pointed out that his career was almost ended by the crash in Sepang which created problems with his vision. He said that the move to Andorra is motivated by better training oportunities during winter. Some pictures I have seen of Andorra in winter might suggest that training for skiiing might be more appropriate.
There is an "Andoran Mafia" which includes Bradley Smith, Leon Camier and Simon Crafar (among others?). Crafar said in jest this morning that they wouldn't include MM in that yet as he's too new.

I have a Samsung smart TV that screens internet content pretty well.
BUT the motogp website does not support smart TVs. This came from the MotoGP people when I emailed them and asked why it wouldn't work. As far as I can work out my TV uses Linux as its OS.
I still have to plug in the laptop via HDMI cable.
Dad uses his Samsung smart TV to watch on the motogp website, my one is a generation older Samsung smart TV and it doesn't work. Hence our pc is permanently set up on the TV with wireless keyboard and mouse. Also we use an ad blocker and watch programs and movies on project free.tv
Yep TV is permanently on the wired gigabit router feed unless I unplug it for the extension cord to the laptop.
Cheers for that!! Thats the problem with the moto GP site and full screen then
The bloody LG should still screen TV on Demand without the laptop feed tho??
I guess technology still hasn't got to the point we can sit down, click the TV on, click a Browser shortcut and watch full screen LMAO.
The odd GP because we have got the laptop out and running we've still plugged the projector in and watched big arse images with the surround going.
Usually that's after the third Bourbon on gp Night
Hopefully next season those Yamaha's will gain a few 10ths and give the Hondas a better go?
The new teams might fight in the next bunch and Moto 2 will be as exciting as the other two classes.
Still its been a great season I reckon![]()

...I have all the technology that you need to watch anything I want to, alas there are far too many buttons to push...if my IT whizz kid son isn't about, I'm fucked...I seem to end up in a spiraling vortex of nothingness when it comes to the ether...'dunno if that's a good thing or not...
Following the publicity MM attracted by changing his address to Andorra, Simon Crafar has been moved to write explaining the attractions of living there.
