    Tps screw buggered

Hi all, I was trying to adjust the tps on my dl650. All was going well when I started tightening it up and I stripped the bottom screw. The worst part is that It's not properly adjusted and I can't undo the screw to fix it. I've tried cutting a notch in the screw but that hasn't helped. I don't think I can get an ezy out into the space.

    Any advice would be great.

Mini needle nose vice grips. Don't be a pussy about it, clamp them on extra tight, the screw is toast anyway.

pic of where it is might help with solutions.
try removing the top screw completely and see if that makes getting the bottom one undone any easier?

What he said. Failing that, see if you can grind the head off and use vice grips to get the shank out.

    The torx type fastener ?
If you work on your own bike then first up is to remove them (vice grips if you have to ) and replace them with M5 ? capscrews and small flat washers so it is easy the next time.

I got the screw out. All is well with the world again. Thanks for your help. I started cutting the head off and go through one of the washers which allowed me to get it off with tiny vice grips.
