To be honest, I know you're not serious, but that does make sense.

Except for the fact that Dunedin has the highest crash rate per capita in NZ.

ACC is ripping you off - your are giving it all- and its hilarious to watch.
I quoted your whole statement now - just to show how naive you are.
    what if indeed.
The OP did not give us this information so the "if" doesn't matter. If your granny had balls, she would have been your grandad.

Well I am glad that even though I am naive and being ripped off it is providing you with some amusement, totally worth it.

IF motorcyclists stop having accidents and motorcyclists stop getting hurt than ACC wont have to charge us any levies.

Aye... that's the unfortunate thing. It would make sense to some actuarial mad man and his manager.

Saw summit on 7 days (last week's, not yesterday's) about ACC having a 1.4bn surplus?

Off on an ACC-subsidized course today. Only costing me $50. If you want to get some of the ACC from your rego back, this is as close as you'll probably get

and even then you are restricted in how often you can do it.

If you are pissed off about the surplus and what you are paying it you can at least make a submission, costs you nothing to make a submission so you lost nothing by doing it and it counts as one more submission against the lack of reduction in the motorcycle levy. Even if they take no notice and don't count them, yeah right a bureaucrat not counting submissions, it has cost you nothing.

It makes even less sense when small town NZ has a higher ownership of cars per head of population than larger NZ citys do,,including Auckland.
