    Thumbs up Rf400 custom

Hey everyone, up for sale is my customised Rf400 $3500 ono

    Cosmetically customised RF 400.

This has been my project for the last couple of years, lot of time, money and love put in, but with a new addition to the family, the wife says it has to go.

Fun bike to ride and looks good (IMO). When I purchased it owner already installed some larger jets in the carburettor so it has quite good torque. Still scope for more customisation if desired. For those unfamiliar with the RF400 model, it has a Bandit 400 engine in a RF600 frame.

WOF due next week, I will get a new one. Rego on hold.

This is a LAMS approved motorbike, but this may be voided by the slip on exhaust (stock exhaust is very heavy but included in sale).

Only ridden Mondays (work) and occasional sunny weekend.

New Koso speedo - high beam, indictor lights etc.

Slip on aftermarket exhaust - nice sound.

New Conti-Motion tyres front & back - less than 200 kms on them.

Red aftermarket handlebars (look pink), alloy handle bars coming in the post so these will be fitted for sale.

    Aftermarket belly pan.

Due for an oil and filter change. Seat has a little rip.

Carjam says 56,000 kms but this was a guess at the last WOF due to new speedo, realistically probably under 50,000 kms. Certainly hasn't seen 21 kms a day.

    Work and modifications done:
headlight, indicators, rear light, handlebars and risers, Front fairing removed and tail fairing trimmed down, speedo, mirrors, braided front brake line, bellypan, slip on exhaust.

Box of parts and exhaust included in sale.

Test rides welcome but must have cash as a security.

Sounds good, wish I was in the market! Wouldn't the jets also void the LAMS? Might be a numpty question... looks like the sort of LAMS bike I should have bought

    Wiring for the bike

Hey man I was wondering how complicated it was to wire up the new speedo and lights with the stock wires, were there many modifications that needed to be made?
Im thinking of doing a similar thing with my rf400.

    Cheers
