Ride to Omapere / Opononi, 15th December

Its been a while, but Qkkid and I have been busy........

What: Ride up to Omapere / Opononi via Waipoura Forest then back via Twin Bridges
    When: Sunday 15th December
Time: Leave 8:30am, return late afternoon
Route: Maximising the twisties, less of straight roads - direction to be decided
Gathering point: Caltex Dairy Flat (same place as the Auckland regular sunday ride north)
Who: Anyone comfortable at sustained highway speeds, can go around corners / ride PROPERLY, can do 150kms between stops and happy to ride 600 odd kms in a day.

Want to know more? PM me or do a search on Opononi Rides. (Similar route)
Like on most group rides, there will be different skill levels of riders - some fast, some not. (I'll probably take my Hog so I will be sitting back for a cruise) Find your spot in the group and enjoy the day, NEVER ride beyond your capability.

Riders from Northland may be able to meet Auckland group in Dargaville or other predetermined locations.

Please register HERE If we know your coming then we might wait for you if you're running late..... Perhaps.

DISCLAIMER: Important, please read. This ride will be weather dependant, due to the route. You will be participating on this ride at your own risk and will be responsible for organising yourself. Sorry Learners, this ride is not suitable for you. By participating in this ride you agree with the disclaimer above. If you don't agree, don't come.

Bugger just booked my flights for England on the 14th.

Wonder if I could do a long haul flight after a ride if I changed my flight dates.....

I'm keen to join in on this ride.
I won't be 2-up, so may be a little slower through the corners, haha.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

I'm waiting on Juniper's reply to that!
