Bugger you - I had sprayed my mags with a "good quality etch primer" then went & resprayed a gloss top coat to get a sheen like yours but has come out looking like a plastic model - i'll have to respray it with a low quality matt or satin now

Ahhhhh Ken is BO. Not surprising that it looks so good- i'm BO's lil groupie

ah I didn't use a gloss top coat , I did spend a lot of time prepping the wheels before spraying though, lots of roughing up with scouring pads and cleaning off using a mix of meths and water diluting by half each time I cleaned them till final clean was just water. The etch primer I bought from Union hardware in Newtown, wasn't cheap but the nozzle on the cans was better than some cheap spray guns, also took my time and did several coats trying to avoid lumps or runs. I have a tendency to be half arsed and rush things but I made myself take my time with this and it paid off. Guess you can always do them again, no harm done. : )

James you would have seen it with the MT90's nice and chunky , handles well on the road but bonus of some grip on the gravel, looking fwd to some summer camping trips out Tora way on the lower east cost of the North Island, can't wait!
