I did my 2 years national service in SA, rank of Lieutenant, in the SA Infantry Corps.
After national service had 13 years of citizen force duty, 2 months per year. During this time I earned the rank of Captain, only to be demoted back to Lt a while later for insubordination to a certain camp Commondant....

    Now I don't give a flying toss!

    Hey Eurodave,
I'm currently in the RNZAF up in auckland as an avionics tech. have been in for about 4 and a half years now ( LAC Potter)

Did a bit of a stint at Ohakea when i was a mech, must have missed you Dave. was a good move to get out tho, are you enjoying it?
The avionics trade has seen a downsizing of sorts and the good geeky work is hard to come by as well.
Party hard but keep it clean.
