Just think, if that attitude was used against a biker...
Personally, I think if the driver is apprehended, that an attempted murder charge should be bought against him,
Not as will happen, a careless use , causing an accident, charge. But even just ,failure to stop at the scene of an accident will be all that will happen.

The laws are so weak in this country that no doubt the driver will get a pathetic sentence if busted, then be forced to pay $10 a week reparation for the next fuck knows how many years.

Johns road is an 80km zone so would be silly to put it down to 30ks

    I've seen 50, 30 and 20 km/hr speed restrictions in 100 km/hr areas ... what make that 80 km/hr zone so special .. ??

    As I've said ... I've never seen a 60 km/hr speed restriction sign.

not too sure, but its not far from the airport and its probably one of the busiest roads in christchurch so may not be trying to impede traffic too much??

Granted the reporting is shoddy but can you explain to me when doing that to another vehicle is a reasonable response?

Maybe with a TWRG 4 in conjunction with a TWRG 4s.?

It never ceases to amaze how stories are told (and I've heard a few on here even) ... before all the facts are known.

Only one version has been told so far.

and the article doesn't say anything about a 60kmhr speed restriction either, just that was what she slowed down to; so it could have been either of the common 70 or 50kmhr signs, or even a 30kmhr one...

I rode through that section of roadworks on Wednesday, and drove through on Tuesday, and it is indeed a 60kmh temporary limit area, and for that matter there's a long section of that same road a few km up the road where it's become Russley that's been a "temporary" 60km zone for more than 6 months now, and probably closer to a year at this point.
