    Ben from Napier (benhall)

    Hi im Ben
Im from Napier, ive been pining for a 4cyl jap bike for a while now, this came up and seemed like it needed some love plus a good way for me to learn about my bike while learning to ride etc.

    88 FZR250 2kr

missing the fairings (im after some if anybody can hook me up) sprockets look like waves on the beach, forks spewing oil and bunch of other horrid neglect and overspray

I should prob start a project thread as ive already fixed a tonne of things
    comments, suggestions welcome

I had an '89 FZR... Local yamaha shop refused to even look for parts for me. Good luck with the rebuild. Look around wreckers.

Welcome to the forum. Cool looking bike you have there.

Are you doing everything on the bike yourself?

that looks like a good condition 2KR. Parts are easy to get from wreckers. Just not always the ones you looking for. Chinese plastics for the fairings chap

I wouldnt say "good" condition eg someone "tried" to weld the headlight bracket on when they could have just tightened the bolt, looking at chinese farings, shipping is a killer

Have bounced and email to Glenn @ justfairings but am concerned about mounting of top part, and is $650 unpainted.
