Milan 2013 EICMA - new models to gawk at!

That time of year has creep up on us again.

New MV Agusta sports tourer looks good to me. Good to see some manufacturers haven't remained in hibernation since the 2008 GC hit.

Honda VFR 800 is..well lets say a face only a mother could love.

BMW still employing the designer of their odd ball mis-matched twin headlights on the new naked S1000R

I prefer it to the previous model....I wouldn't mind seeing it in the flesh.

and the Yamaha MT-07, 690 twin.......

100% agreed there. Actually reminds me more of the 750 than the current 800. For all the edgy stuff Honda does, this actually manages to look old!

CTX1300... I wonder if this is the beginnings of an ST1300 replacement.

New R1200RT is interesting, but jeepers, so many gadgets like central locking to go wrong

Is that the bastard child result of when the Honda DN-01 mounted the Ducati Diavel?

I didn't realise the Ducati liked it that way

The CTX moniker started as one of the variants of the 700 (NC-S, NC-X and CTX). Other than name and rough shape, there doesn't seem to be too much in common. 1300 runs a v4 and a new headlight arrangement, whereas the 670 is the usual 670 headlight and a twin. It's the use of the v4 in a 1300 fashion that's making me curious about the ST, as people haven't been wanting/asking about it's replacement for years...
