This is a pretty good question.
Are you getting signal/pulse to the coils?
You checking power between kill switch and cdi unit? The kill switch on them only cuts power to the unit, and still cranks.
If all else fails, a VT250 spada unit will be similar, if yours has the 13,500rpm redline.
Agree with the cam tensioner statement too
Take the tensioners out and ream the oil holes out a bit, then clean the fuck out of them.
