I'm a newbie to the site. I imagine I'll be just browsing for a looong time as I don't currently have a bike.
Hope to find out some good tips and tricks from the voices of experience in the meantime!
Looking forward to learning more about bikes, NZ bike culture and all that comes with it.
My fave style of bike is probably the naked look, ala Ducati Monster. I'm probably more in the market for something like a VTR 250 though (I do quite like them). I guess trail bikes are an interest point also as the river bed up the road has plenty of good riding to check out. That said, most styles have something that catches my eye from time to time... now if only NZs bike rego system made sense, I could own them all! (subject to funding and WAF)
One day I'll get round to buying some wheels and at that time will no doubt post about that.
In the meantime, I'll just live vicariously through my mate who's well into it!

worked on a farm there for a while, used to graze cows down on the sand dunes they building houses on now, don't understand that lol rode over most of it and some of it was well dodgy
