    Paint for cases n heads?

Bought a set of Samco hoses to replace the oem ones on the old S (long overdue) then thought why not give the whole thing some TLC,looks ok in the pic but reality is 15 years has taken its toll and the motors stone chipped to buggery, plenty on here i would imagine have tarted up an older bike motor so what prep and paint to use?

Water cooled motors generally don't get hot enough to burn normal paint, engine enamel's great stuff though and sticks like shit to a blanket

its all about preperation. gentle blast & clean is best but obviously not the most convenient. I've had good results with PJ1 paint, but have to find a distributor & they don't carry every colour. Used to have several different Blacks.

Soda blasting is THE action. Residue washes off with water.

Then powder coat them whatever colour turns you on the most.
