So see you around - good job on organising the ride. Hopefully we'll have a great day.
Have you organised someone on trailer/pick up duty incase someone breaks down or something.......

Bit hard to pick up a bike when I'll be on the ride and don't own any other vehicle apart from my bike.....Originally Posted by placidfemme
Usually a post here asking for anyone who lives/will be in the area or is available and owns a truck will be enough.
It's better to be prepared. Doesn't mean something will happen, just that it is a large ride and the chances of something going wrong is greater since there are new riders and many bikes.
Bollocks... it isnt in every thread when a ride is organised....Originally Posted by justsomeguy
Most usually ring up a friend or contact Frosty or FF depending on which way folks are riding.
Well... I did one the other day... but completely by mistake lol Don't think I got it high off the ground... maybe only 10cm... was trying to a smart-ass and take off real quick at the lights and dunno what I did, but the front lifted... shat myself then got all excited lolOriginally Posted by aff-man
I don't think my front brakes are hard out enough to do stoppies
How does your new bike handle with wheelies and stoppies? Broken it in yet?

When the f*ck did I say it is in every thread??? Read what I've written, if you can't comprehend what was typed - then don't rubbish others comments.
USUALLY on KB a post asking for something results in a positive response to that request.
If Frosty or FF or Dave are busy now would be a good time to find out. If someone else is available then this would be a good time to find out.
There have been instances where someone has binned and all of the above were busy and couldn't come over and pick the bike up - I know this because I was the person calling on behalf of another KB'er. I also know that the people who usually get called have weekend shifts/jobs/ kids to look after, etc, etc.
So isn't it a good idea to see if someone is available??
JSG - Please note what I have highlighted.Originally Posted by crashe
Which means you didnt read all that I wrote.
And now back to Placidfemme organising her ride on the 11th September.
sheeesh! is it that time of the month or something....
CHILL PEOPLE...![]()
thanks to JSG for bringing it up though - as said Frosty and FF have put their hands up in the past and usually post if they are available to help. There is/was a sticky thread of people that can help in certain areas. If that doesnt work there is a trailer and tie down straps at my house suitable for loading up nearly any bike - just need someones car.
Best thing is to not talk about it and just have a good ride. If it happens then we can sort it out!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
