So isn't it a good idea to see if someone is available??

Yes it is this ride that I'm talking about. ..... and this will be my last post in this thread.

Look JSG, a lot of casual rides don't have a trailer to pick you up. Not even on the Use-less-lees WE riders. This is not a big 200+ Biker Rally. Just don't ride silly. If you do go down, I am sure someone will work something out. If you don't feel sercure without a "cage" and trailer following you to pick up the pieces, then please don't come. Otherwise back off PF cause she's doing the best she can.

WOOWOWOWOWOOW - ok this is my last post here --

I thought you Doug would understand what I meant.

    I don't want a trailer following anyone

I just wanted to know if anyone with a trailer/truck/ute/van/whatever was free if something happened - I don't want anyone following anyone.......

Usually if someone bins it's as Crashe said - we usually sort it out at the time by making a few calls and seeing who can come. What I was trying to do was post here seeing if someone is available so we have their number just in case.... instead of making the calls then and having to make more calls.... which is just more stress in case everyone is busy...anyway no point in preparing now you guys know what to do.

--- apologies to those offended - I've just finished a three day 9am to 5pm work related course on how software testing along with business analysis can save company's time, money and effort and my brain is totally fried - got no idea what I'm saying typing away.........

You guys have fun, I wont be bothering you anymore. Great effort PF - well done.

my *cough* best time was around the 25 or 30 minute mark from greenhithe... but that was at a blistering and highly illegal pace...

perhaps somewhere around the 35-40min mark i guess...

    Yep, it's that easy.
You can't miss it. Probably about 1/2 km from the end of the m/way.

Far out. This ride looks like it will be as big as the infamous 22 ride back in may. I reckon its gonna be cool. Can't wait.

I don't think my front brakes are hard out enough to do stoppies

How does your new bike handle with wheelies and stoppies? Broken it in yet?
Your bikes brakes are plenty strong enough to do stoppies. Believe me and if not me ask bruce.
As for the new bike well i am still playing with the power wheelies but i think it'll be a bit smoother when i sort the carbs out. Might try a few on sunday aye

i second that... give it to me and i'll prove it.

i've had my ZXR as well as Cibby Chicks CBR and SuperDaves all up on one wheel... pity its only the front.

Mad duck that was just the 'normal' route. Going up old north til it intersects a main road that ends up coming out about 2km back from Kaukapakapa - sorry dont know what its called.

lol ok so I'm a chicken shit! I wouldn't mind too much if I hurt myself (not too badly though) but I'd be gutted if my bike was wrecked...

So anyway... this ride is starting to look REALLY good. At the ride Bugjuice organised we had 38 bikers show up, so hopefully we get about the same this time
