It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Yeah,
I'm still keen on a ride,
The route sounds fine, I will take a pillion and be fine just cruising along.
I have a gut feeling the weather will be nice too

    Northland Join-up Route To Wellsford

Ant and I are planning to take the Oakliegh-Paparoa Rd down to Wellsford. Could add Otaika Valley Rd and Manugakaramea Rd to this if we meet at Maungatapere Service Station (I'll be come from Mangakahia Rd). Should take us less than 1 1/2Hrs to get to Wellsford this way. A lot more fun and way less

    If they are:
Meeting place: Shell Service Station, Westgate.

Meeting at 9.30am leaving at 10am sharp!

Then they should be at Wellsford about 11pm.

If we going via the Oak/Pap Rd we should leave Whangarei by 9.30am (sharp) to get there comfortiabily ahead of them. Going straight to Wellsford we'd be there in an hour. Via Oak/Papa less than an 1 1/2hours.
