Well depending on where RIB wants to meet up (probably Portland turnoff again) we could meet @ the Information Centre in Otaika before meeting RIB. Where about are you?

Sweet. Should see if Pam and Kevin are free for this. They live on the Kokopu Block Rd. How about we meet at Maungatapere SS for a change. That way we get to do Otaika Vly as well

Yeah will be keen to meet up with some more KBers, Should have a new tyre to scrub in after the cold kiwi.
Maungatapere would be a good place for the Whangarei Kbers to meet up.

Recommend filling in Whangarei as well, but I will be filling at Maungatapere. I have to go pass there to go to Whangarei or anywhere South as I live on Mangakahia Rd. This makes Maungatapere a good meeting place for me. Rung Pam and Kevin. They might be able to join us there after Milking.
Recommend leaving Maungatapere by 9:30am (no later than 9:45) to make Wellsford by 11am using to following route:
Maungatapere - Otaika Vly Rd - SH1 - Maungakaramea Rd -Turning left at Maungakaramea on the Rd that passes Tauraroa Area School - Turn left onto the Mangapai/Oakleigh Rd - Then first right onto Oakleigh/Paparoa Rd - SH12 - SH1 to Wellsford.
Here We'll meet the other KBers and join Aff & Lou for a hoon back home

Nobody seems to be saying they'll lead, but if we are using the main road and not Old North Rd or something, then I'll be happy to lead the main group (ie, those that want to go faster will be out in front) as its easy, and I have ended up doing the route after I've failed to find Old North Rd

After Wellsford, I have taken SH1 all the way back out east (main routes, motorways) so if there is a turnoff somewhere, somebody had better know it...
